Dr. Damm has been on the Mechanical Engineering faculty of the Milwaukee School of Engineering since the fall of 2004, where he teaches courses in thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, advanced energy technologies, and engineering design. Dr. Damm received a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He graduated with a M.S. in Physics from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Areas of expertise include: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), thermal fluid design, engineering statics and dynamics (stability analysis, etc.), combustion, environmental pollution, air contaminant control, sensor and detector design, fuel systems, engineering design and analysis, product safety analysis. He has been a consulting engineer in the area of accident reconstruction since 2004.
